everything is possible
my personal mantra, and most-likely my future tattoo, is “everything is possible.” i love that statement. i can’t take credit for it and wouldn’t want to – i totally ripped it off of Jesus.
i believe that statement to be one of fact. like the post right below this says, i have no trouble thinking big – thankfully my better half is way more wise and can reign me in from time to time.
i don’t consider any thing i’ve done in my life that’s been of any benefit or value to have been my doings. as a Believer, i am confident the Lord has been guiding my path, opening the right doors, closing the right doors and making my way straight. if you were to tell me that i was responsible for all the amazing things that have happened to-date in my life, i would quickly call you a moron.
right now, i have too much on my plate. it’s all good, and the Lord is in control. i hold to that fact when it hits the fan like it’s been doing for most of this year… : )
everything happens for a reason. everything is possible.
First off, love the phrase. You should definitely make that a tat. A huge one. I’ll even help you design it and can recommend several tattoo artists if you want
Second, and foremost
Yes, everything IS possible, but the focus shouldn’t be in everything that is possible, or in the possibilities in everything. The deeper into that statement one dives into, and they will find what I believe would be the very essence that underlines that statement: Jesus. He makes everything possible because He IS everything. He is Jehovah Jireh, YHWH who provides, not only in everything, but in possibilities in and of everything. Moreover, it is in Him that everything is fulfilling, and the utmost obedience to Him gives way to nothing but possibilities…
