turns out, people actually scour the web for photos to use in their published works…and sometimes, they find your work and want to use it. thanks to schmap’s handy iphone app, i’m now [sort-of] a published photographer.
they found, and asked for permission, to use my photo of waikiki beach and honolulu from diamond head. simple searches on flickr led them to my photo. pretty cool i’m in an app, even if there is no hard copy of their work.
