i’ve been preparing for a brief presentation on social media, it’s impact in culture and – since the presentation is for my employer – how it applies to personal injury lawyers.
the information i’m gathering has been interesting, to say the least.

i started blogging in 2003. back then (as if it was the stone age) most folks didn’t even know what google was, much less what a blog was.
it’s funny that i remember people giving me crap for owning my domain name – saying i was egotistical. i’d bet a dime to a dollar that the person saying that either has their own domain name now, or wishes they had bought it before it got squatted.

in my career as a web dude, i’ve used nearly a dozen web hosting providers. none of them were as good as the one i’ve always preferred and use to this day… dreamhost. if you’re a freelance or full time web dude/dudette needing an awesome virtual hosting provider, if you have a free blogger website and are looking for more (like my bride was), or if your current hosting provider sucks, you should definitely make the move to dreamhost.

google just added a sweet new feature to google maps. the new feature allows you to view the location from the “street view”… it’s pretty sick.
check out times square, 16th street mall in denver, or the las vegas strip.
